Daniel and I both grew up in Ramona, CA. We attended
OPMS (Olive Peirce Middle School) and RHS (Ramona
High School) together.
We first met in Middle school when we were involved
in the band program. Once we were freshman in high
school we had similar classes. Daniel would always
tease me about the clothes I wore.
Our junior year I started attended Grace Community
Church where both of us were junior high Call Box
leaders. We went to junior prom together and became
exclusive soon afterwards.
We started dating our senior year of high school
and have been going strong since. We both attended
Palomar, then I went on to finish my BA at Cal Poly
San Luis Obispo. Daniel completed his AA at Grossmont
and is now attending SDSYU for his BS in Business
Administration.
We both work for Costco and enjoy going to the
beach, long drives, exploring, and teasing one another.
Daniel had me thrown with the engagement. We were
planning to spend a weekend together for my friend's
wedding in Riverside. After the wedding on May 23rd
we were driving up to Ventura to stay the night
and head for Santa Barbara the next day. When we
got into Ventura, Daniel decided we needed to go
exploring at a near by park that was right on the
water. We took a walk and sat on a bench looking
at the stars. As we got up to leave Daniel told
me I should sit back down, he got down on one knee,
and I balled my eyes out. I found out later he originally
planned the engagement for a couple nights before
when I was in San Diego, but I had gotten sick from
dinner so he decided to wait until I felt better.
